So I failed on an ambush on an elf but i got everything correctly and sent 106% more.
The elf has offences specs and elites specs. so it is basically ((number of offspecs*6)+(number of elitespecs*6))x0.8, correct?

No need to send 106%. Send a single offense point more than the target has defense => 100.01% (ish)
