Unable to add player

Our KD has just dropped a player (he destroyed), down to 24, and want to bring in another person to get back to full.

Now this new player has gifted me an invite, but my Recruit/Invite page tells me;

"Your kingdom is already full. We cannot recruit any more players at this time."

"There is one reservation for this kingdom, which will expire on ..."

No idea where this reservation would have come from, if it was there since start of Age, I wouldn't have been able to get up to 25 in the first place? Is it related to this guy destroying his province?

He didn't destroy and still has a reservation to rejoin you. If he doesn't pick it up the slot will open and you can invite someone in.

Actually, how long is the reservation supposed to last, 5 days?

Usually 2 days i think, not sure if mid age is longer. I will ask.
