elf +spell success

Last question. Is that counted towards mod wpa all around? so an elf with 1 wpa infact has 1.5 wpa on offense or defense.

Yes.

1 wpa x elf bonus (50%) x 100% magic sciences would for example give 3 modified wpa on offense and defense. (1 x 1.5 x 2)

Really? That's odd. I would have taken it as just offensive bonus....becuase it says spell success.

Why would you take spell success to be offensive only? Self spells are still spells. But yes, "spell success" is a term of art for "WPA" in this here game.

I understand pyobe logic and have the same question. It just doesn't make sense to me that the racial mod affecting spell success would be factored in when a prov isn't the one casting a spell, but instead being casted on. Can anyone confirm this?

1. This has always been how the game has described the WPA boost as long as I can remember.

Yes. Spell success = wpa, both offensively and defensively. Andurilas is correct.
