    Ops Success & Fail Rate

I am in War with another KD

we have infiltrated and surveyed one of there faery's and found that he has a only a 3 TPA Raw with no Thieves Dens or Watch Towers

Our Rouge has a 6 Raw TPA 20% Thieves Dens and it only achieving a 40-50% success rate on Assassinate Wizards .

    Conversely
Their Rouge has a 4 Raw TPA 20% Thieves Dens and is achieving a 75-80% success Rate against our Mage who has a 5 Raw TPA and 15% Thieves Dens, 12% Watch Towers

No sapphire dragon, Crime Sci Maxed for both

Can someone please explain this. This is not exaggerated

    Did you check science comparisons?

Eta: I see you did. We've been finding much the same, especially with magic ops.

Science and Honor? I'm not saying it can't happen, just curious about the whole picture.

She strikes like a panther. In there before me.

    Both have Max Crime Sciences

    Both are Lords

We have noticed the same issue with magic ops too but not to the same extent

Clear Sight is a wonderful spell isn't it?

They are a faery so probably have CS up and some bad RNG on your guys' part.

Assassinate wizards is kind of an op that requires about 3x their mtpa for good success.

I see you are comparing it to one of their guys op'ing one of your mages. Let me guess, your mage is an elf?

Clear Sight is literally the ONLY reason I never run elf/mystics. Faeries have it and elves don't. I feel like not having my elves destroyed by rogues, therefore until elves get Clear Sight I will never run them :)

Your mages BE is tanked, or they didnt have CS up.

Is their halfer doing aw or an easier op?

CS is extremely powerful spell. Never try to op a mage who has access to CS without MV-ing it in first place. You might need 10 attempts but get it out.

In my experience(and that's not an official data) the more thieves you send the likely to fail. If you have high rtpa you are sending a lot thieves. On my halfer I run 7.5-8 rtpa and when I try to aw/ga mystics with CS - fail rate is 90%+. MV-ing it and fail rate is <10%.

Or, instead of anecdotal evidence, you could go with the plain description of the spell which says 25% autofail.

    Probably impacted by rnw issues.
But honestly it's likely one of two:
    1. You have horrible RNG and likely small sample size (20-30 ops?)
    2. your fae is lying about having had CS up/exaggerates enemy success.

Anything over 20 is considered an adequate sample size statistically.
