I similarly hate the idea of CF'ing other top kingdoms then trying to out tax/whore ghettos. #1 should fight #2 as soon as reasonably possible.

I haven't tried to compete at the top for a few ages, but I think i'd get beyond annoyed at the whole message the server for free land game. Dorje usually likes just taking it by force, which is respectable, even if in the old days it got him in trouble, you could at least count on him to go for a hyper aggro start. I.E. a fun to play/try strat.

guess who's not going to land play next age lol. we had enough of BS this age with kds just taxing and other stuff. Believe it or not we taxed NO ONE this age:) I already told crs, if he wants to go for land next age I'm going to just retire for real but I know we're all sick of top play and just get back to wars. Last age was more fun with 11 wars hehe. ONLY reason we went for land this age was because of the forced wars CR did on us last age with b2b to win the honor crown. After a free wave on them start of age and this war(if we win) I can say our goal for this age is completed. I told em last age ... we see how you doing next age when we fight on a reasonable size. they laughed so hard. I don't see them laughing now. The win against emeriti start of age just comes as a bonus:) It just reminds me of the good old Sleepy days when we just took either NOX or ABS kds one by one and kill them:D

Meep, it's the cow acres that scare me. We know wsk knows how to use their cows and they're massively up in those acres. It makes it hard for us to have a fair war with them later since you're killing their core while their cows grow - so if we give them time to whore their core back upthen we'd have no chance, but if we go for them at earliest chance before they can do so then we're basically just being dicks to a kingdom I kind of like. You can chalk it up to the overpowered brokenness of bottomfeeding if you want.

I feel for you losing the cow fight. The moment I took intel on your 6k provinces and saw them running ridiculous high defense, watchtowers, hosps, and forts, I knew you guys weren't going to end up at 180k acres the way I'd expected. That was your mistake; there was no need for defense or hosps at all on provinces that you must have known would never get hit during the conflict. Now you're stuck with a massive number of faery elites; basically you're a kingdom full of tm's trying to fight orcs.

(FWIW the dspec training thing that seems to be getting so much attention is a non-issue. Dspecs don't cost any money. Maybe you saved them like 1 fools gold cast with that mistake. CR lost the cow fight because it was 4v3 and they were completely unable to leverage their huge core into getting any influence on the fight.)

(Also, the 180k acre number isn't pulled out of the hat. Both kingdoms have 15k+ pool by now, and the war win is another 13k. Add on incoming acres and the winner will be quite large. And that's with basically 0 net exchange happening in the fight so far which is a rarity.)

I do take issue with cr's style of play (basically, tricking people - like wsk - into giving them cf's, then whoring/farming out of range of them, then taxing them when the cf expires). This style is surely the result of a small number of leaders within cr, but it seems to be an institutional mindset that corrupts everyone who joins you. If you're a player who just wants to war, CR may not be the kingdom for you. I was looking forward to fighting you guys afterward, and now I'm not looking forward nearly as much to fighting wsk and their silly cow/core spread when the time comes.

This style of play is pathetic along with giving gc for acres. and it's only been prevalent this 10+ ages or so. I've always been in favour of staggering your cf's warring them 1 by 1 and crushing the competition instead of the pathetic scheming that is currently going on.

And overtaxing? back when i was leading nobody taxed 20%, anything above 10-15% was a rarity and it was a reasonably sized cf on top of that, nowadays CR and Spartans try to tax 20% for a 1 week CF which is hilarious, goes to show how much they fear equal competition.

CR made alot of mistakes, one was not max gaining few days back when they should have understood they had already lost the cow fight. Guys keep telling me CR will win the war but who gives a damn about the war. Win the war but lose the age? All faery kingdom is built for b2b. I guess it's about pride but remember war is just a stance ;)

CR could have easily won the bank war, if they had utilised the 7k provs efficiently. These would have been key to win.
