Does the type of dragon selected affect the cost and HP of the dragon? I understand relation mod affects it.

Dragon Cost
Dragon Cost = MAX ( Target Kingdom NW , Your Kingdom NW ) * 1.25
Dragon Cost is determined at the time the dragon is started.
Dragon HP
Dragon HP = ( Receiving Kingdom NW / ~44 ) * Relations Mod
Dragon HP is determined at the time the dragon is sent.

We think we noticed the Sapphire dragon at the started prior to war costed less than the Emerald Dragon mid war. is this possible I didnt check the math based on the formulas at the time just curious.

EDIT: Re-read and saw you were referring to COST, and not HP. If it cost less at start, that could be due to NW difference.

Is there a Formula or a rule of thumb we could follow? Preferably a formula

this is what i use;

Cost Metric = 0.875 * [Target KD's NW]



Sapphire - 1.0x Cost Metric

Gold - 2.0x Cost Metric

Ruby - 2.4x Cost Metric

Emerald - 3.0 Cost Metric



My HP Metric = 0.75% Receiving KD NW (That is * 0.0075 )



Sapphire HP = HP Metric

Gold HP = 3.5x HP Metric

Ruby HP = 4.2x HP Metric

Emerald HP = 5.25x HP Metric

Edit your hp mods are off for gold and ruby. Your Cost metric is also wrong it counts both kds nw..i'll also update the wiki

I thought Cost takes both KDs into account as well, but the last 2 times I have checked against my calcs I have ended up with Dragon Cost related to the target KD despite them being smaller...?

I will admit my Gold n Ruby HP are speculative, I haven't seen them fly on my KD in awhile, at least not where I've remembered to note the HP... TY for updates
