    Exclamation Herectic Sci Bonus Bug/Error

    As Herectic you should get +20% magic and thievery effectiveness, this bonus is applied to magic effectiveness just fine on the science page but it isn't added to thievery effectiveness.

    The Heretic
    Wizards do not die on failed spells
    Thieves do not die on failed operations
    Successful spell casts get 35% of rune cost refunded
    +20% Spell Success
    +20% Magic and Thievery Science Effectiveness.
    Access to Nightmares and Blizzard
    Starts with +100 Wizards and +200 thieves

    Is it just me or is this actually a bug. The above was copied from the announcement section under age 70 changes.

    Edit: Adding the math

    I am gonna add the math for both Channeling and Crime Science

    Channeling
    Sci Page: 70.2% with 13 Graduates
    Math: 13 * 1.5 * 3 * 1.2 = 70.2 - Graduates * Grad Multplier * Channeling Multiplier * Herectic Bonus

    Crime:
    Sci Page: 45% with 6 Novice and 6 Graduates
    Math with bonus: (6 + 6 * 1.5) * 3 * 1.2 = 54 - (Novices + Graduates * Grad Multiplier) * Crime Multiplier * Herectic Bonus
    Math w/o bonus: (6 + 6 * 1.5) * 3 = 45 - (Novices + Graduates * Grad Multiplier) * Crime Multiplier

    This age crime and magic don't have same base value. Channeling base for novice is 3 but for crime is 2.5(3.75 for grad rounded up to 3.8 on the sci page).

    (6 + 6 * 1.5) * 2.5 * 1.2 = 45

    That actually explains a lot, like the cap difference between Channeling and Crime.

    I know that the cap lvl of Channeling is 125 but i wonder why that is the only odd number compared to sci points

    max sci point cap

    Alchemy: 30 (30%)
    Housing, Military: 50 (15%)
    Tools, Food, Crime: 40 (20%, 200%, 100%)
    Channeling: 41.6667 (125%)

    I would have capped Channeling at 120% making it 40 sci points like Tools, Food and Crime

    Ohh well thx for explaining my math issue.
