This measurement has me wondering what total offense each can generate in a 24 hour period with a common set of variables.
For example Avian cannot muster the amount of offense an Orc can in 1 attack. But over a 24 hour period they might be able to hit 3 times compared to the Orcs 2. Their speed is an asset not reflected in pure military power in one attack, but would in effect increase the offensive power they can generate in a set period of time making the race of more value offensively than is reflected in pure offensive numbers.

    Just thinking over here.

I think that is why we are seeing 4-1 Avians over Orcs so far. Faery and Human numbers are also way down. The amount of ambitious individuals taking on UD War Hero is pretty surprising. I am genuinely curious to see how many 1 def leets will die on a TM with armies home. On 1k acres with full leets last age, I lost 500-800 per attack with armies in (only happened a few times) which was devastating, and that was with 3 def leets.

Another reason why you might be seeing alot of avians, clerics at that, is for the sole purpose as a cleric it will lessen the troop loss from blood lust use....even and orc cleric will lose more troops than an avian....with the same scenario.

In case you missed it in the mechanics section of the changes bloodlust also gives 10% offense

I saw the change to Bloodlust, but because of the increased losses, I'd rather cast Fanaticism for its 5% OME bonus with only -3% DME, rather than cut into the Cleric casualty bonus. The 11 strength free elites should be strong enough to take down anyone in range without the need for +10% OME, especially considering how free Avians are to build whatever buildings they want/need.

In my kd mp and gp is used mainly to try and bounce. Which means as an avian I can keep fanat on and mp on (getting +2 dme) and still have a chance to bounce with Gp.

I will use bloodlust too because that 10 ome isn't the only benefit. I also get more kills on the enemy. Extremely helpful when tryna chain a target. Makes it easier for everyone else to double triple tap.

The extra kills on me is negated by personality bonus and some hosps. So I still suffer less losses get more kills and effectively have an extra 15 ome thanks to spells.

That's the awesome part of of avian cleric.

So I think I have an idea how these rankings work, and I was intrigued by these points. I have some different assumptions, and only one combo for each race for Attacking purposes at the moment...

I tried to apply Persains idea for DPA... but any one using 6-pt specs for defence ends up 100% spec... So what I did was try to get close (90%) to that raw OPA above, with mDPA on Dwarf, Elf, Faery, and Halfling

The BE I guess would indicate better Rogue potential? I included the other stuff ( [+%Success] * [+%Dmg] * [#/24h] ) as a rough gauge of effectiveness as well. Are any of my assumptions just straight-up wrong, or you guys have ideas for better metrics?
