    Well for the sake of 'player base mercy' I'll point out I've learned more strategy from the Suggestions Forum than the Strategy Forum.

    This phenomoly occurred when I was browsing the changes frustrated players were lobbying for/against. ~ a while ago ~

    To completely understand strategy gaming is to understand that car dealerships know what the Kelly Bluebook is to. The dealerships have to make their money somehow. This isn't to say the mods haven't been or wont be completely honest, but the authoritative peanut gallery can steer a naive player in the wrong direction by giving them good advice.

    I'm sure Sparta understands this, but to truly progress in the game you need to know what the top does. You need to understand functionality and natural progression. I see very mechanically sound players every day that'd be superior to my contributions in about every situation but the one that counts. In my experience, I see very few separate from the herd. That may seem cruel but it's not my intention. Comfort in numbers is ok, but it is the herd that is hunted. Fattening the herd, intentional or not, is what the Strategy Forum has accomplished in the past.

    I'd like the new team to make guys like me completely obsolete.

    His post in this thread clearly shows ASF's bias to anyone knowledgeable enough:

    Just the loners. ;-)

    @ all: this is why the Suggestion Forum is the Strategy Forum.

    Thanks for all the volunteer work mods!

    Some people seem to forget that.

    What has bias in the game got to do with moderating the strategy forum?

    I think they are both great choices. Both have the game knowledge to help other players and are willing to share the information needed. But more importantly they both have the calm and reasonable demeanor needed to be a good mod. People skills are important for that job. Patience, integrity, goodwill, effort along with the serenity to endure personal attacks without snapping are maybe even more important as mod than the game skills.
    They could have easily gotten aggressive in this thread, but they didn't. Best proof that they are qualified for the job.

    GW has just proven to me that I was wrong. The lack of aggression in this thread shows weakness from Pers and ASF and people like Steel will exploit that. Thank you for changing my opinion GW, I always enjoy seeing the error in my ways.

    I wouldn't know, they don't allow me in there. But Steel was in this thread, and can clearly smell the blood in the water.

    I think khono is concerned for those who need instruction to know how to rock.

    If top kingdoms like sausage and the Strategy Forum is a sausage machine;

    1. Get meat(naive undead sage)

    2. Put meat in sausage machine.

    Now I'm just joking on my end but I don't want khrono to feel I'm not hearing his voice. I think they're both wonderful and moderation is just moderation.
