    Scientists for maxed science

I've calculated and rounded up based on values ingame

    Alchemy 30 professors for max
    Tools 34 Professors to max
    Housing 38 professors to max
    Production 30 professors to max
    Military 38 professors for max
    Crime 32 professors to max
    Channeling 30 professors to max

Total of 232 professors needed and I hope I did not mix up channeling and crime max.

    ^ I think it's 30 for tools, 30 for crime, 32 for channeling.

I think the Alchemy number is off as well...30 professors to reach cap would mean each of those professors gave 1%. Novice currently gives 0.5% to Alchemy (w/o any modifiers). Not to mention that if last age's max was 15 scientists, this age should be somewhere around 22-23, no?

Professors give x2 novice so yeah. You will need 30 for alchemy.

I think it would be much higher than that. I thought each scientist would contribute less, diminishüng benefits like land %. So the first couple of professors might give 1% but the 20th would give much less.

Ps Never mind i guess they didnt implement this in the final changes.

I'll check on the numbers later, I got a feeling I was not 100% sure if channeling or crime was 125%, as for tools max is 20% 1 professor is 0,6% = 33,3 professors or 33 and 1 novice or 34 when you round up the number of professors for max

30 novices in tools = 10% BE. So if cap is 20% then 30 professors should be max.

That would make each professor 0,66% effectivity and each novice 0,33% I only got 1 so I believe you are most likely right there I calculated from the 0,3% my one guy gave me not realicing the odd number effect in tools.

Crime max is 100% and I got 3 novices for an odd 5% meaning 3 professors would be 10% and 30 max, yup I mixed them up I think
Channeling is 125% and I got 3 novices for 6% meaning 1 professor is 4% and 32 is needed for max, definally swiched arround in my head

I am not sure about housing since I got the data secondhand, but everything else was calculated with multiple scientists and it would look like this then.

    Alchemy 30 professors for max
    Tools 30 Professors to max
    Housing 38 professors to max
    Production 30 professors to max
    Military 38 professors for max
    Crime 30 professors to max
    Channeling 32 professors to max

Total of 228 professors to max then.

so what are the precise numbers (non rounded). This?:

    Alchemy 30 professors for max
    Tools 30 Professors to max
    Housing 37.5 professors to max
    Production 30 professors to max
    Military 37.5 professors for max
    Crime 30 professors to max
    Channeling 31.25 professors to max

Crime is 30 profs + something else. The base is 1.65(100% sure).
If the prof value for tools is 0.66 you will need 31 for max(30 is 19.8)

    So total 230 to max?

well if you go by 0,66% and 3,33% for tools and crime respectively that would be correct, I assumed 2/3 clear and 3 1/3 clear which would be 0,66666666666666666666666666666666666666666% and 3,333333333333333333333333333333333333% written in decimals. I guess we'll know for sure whenever someone reach max with either 30 or 31.

Well to be fair 30 novices isnt actually 10% even but 9.9%, so I can see 31 being max.

Anyone able to help with the sci bonus for Graduates in Crime? My calcs currently have it at 2.475, but that's after much trial-and-error (read: guesswork). If someone could confirm this or provide the correct value, that'd be much appreciated! :)
