Bo To said above "Crime is 30 profs + something else. The base is 1.65(100% sure). "
So 1.65% for novice = 2.475 for graduate

Its strange, it seems to round other categories after 2nd decimal... ie my sci page right now shows +22.8% income, but im pretty sure its actually +22.75% (1 grad, 22 prof)
So, I agree that 1+2/3 does not represent Crime novice value, as that would give on my current setup (2 Nov, 2 Grad, 1 Prof) +11.67% ...
BUT 1.65 as base value gives an end result of +11.55% ... My sci page indicates +11.5% ... if Nov = 1.65 I would expect my sci page to round this up to show 11.6%
1.64 would fit, if my assumption about rounding is true across all categories. 1.64 gets me +11.48% effect from 2 Nov, 2 Grad, 1 Prof... which on my science I would expect to read as +11.5%
EDIT: the 1.65 works better upon comparing with some of my kdmates who have more Crime sci... seems odd to me that the rounding would be different from category to category

There is some strange rounding this age. I have 5 novices in tools and I get +1.6%. The base is 0.33 which means I have +1.65% but it's rounded down. When I had 2 novices my bonus was rounded up to 0.7%.
Now about crime: I have 30 profs and I'm rogue so my bonus is: 1.65 * 2 * 1.75 * 30 = 173.25, rounded up to 173.3%. If you do the calculation with 1.64 you get 172.2 which is wrong :).
