    Ambush Question

Just want to verify that I'm understanding Ambush correctly, specifically on an Undead.

    1. Say an Undead attacked me with 5,000 elites and 1,000 off specs. I could Ambush with 11,200 off to have success, correct?

    2. Do I use mod off values or raw off values for my 11,200 off?

    3. Does the Undead that I ambush still get -50% losses when I perform a successful ambush, or is that strictly on their original TM?

    4. Do the Undead's losses from my ambush convert to soldiers?

    1. [(5000*1)*elite def value + (1000*6)*dspec def value, not ospec + 0*2*solds]*0.8 = 8800+1 offense to send to win ambush. No need for 104%

    2. no mod values, no WH. Solds, dspec def*ospecs sent, elites def value. No offense modifiers for you count. Ome=100%. Raw values. You can send WH, theirs don't matter though. I miss 8pt ospecs and WH. Made ambushes really easy with /10

    3. -50% losses is only on attack by them, ambush is defense. Any UD hitting without anon is likely worth ambushing to kill their offense.

    4. Yes, my understanding is all defensive hits have the animate dead effect. This the only point I'm not certain on tho.

Ah, even better. I missed the part about off specs defending at def spec values.

Can anyone provide some clarity on question 4?

    Proof for undead ambushes.

Forces from *insert name* (X:YY) ambushed one of our armies. They recaptured 83 acres from our army! We lost 337 Skeletons and 284 Ghouls in this battle

Name and location redacted to protect privacy of the ambusher =)
