Lets talk about Intel Ops

Can we get some standardization here on intel ops?

Why are SOT/SOMs costing so little and have so much ease of access, but SOS and INF are costing 4% per op and are too difficult to land?

2 Elf/Heretics (currently sitting), 4tpa, max science, 10.2mtpa.

Depleted stealth, returned 10 SOS. 180% stealth netted me 10 SOS.

Balanced?

Hmm. SoM still used to be pretty hard last time I checked. I think SoT and Snatch News are the easiest ops nowadays.

No problems SOM with my current setup. Doing intel sweep today pre-war, and wasted all that stealth for barely any SOS. If the difficulty is going to be that hard for SOS, at least lower the stealth requirement to meet the SOT/SOM values. 4% is pretty steep for "intel"

The stealth requirement goes up if your total stealth is too high as in somewhere >60%. Otherwise it would be news for me that SoS is more expensive than SoM.

Also, you are going to need a couple thousand of data points in order to draw some meaningful conclusions about how difficult any of the ops actually is. That's how RNG works or so I've been told.

I was seeing 4% per failure from 100% to 10% and 3% per success.

We're talking about intel here... It's not like i'm NSing. No way SOS should be costing or be as difficult as NS, or cost as much.
