I love the passion and appreciate the support for helping grow Utopia! I support any attempts to help grow the community and the game through other outlets and communities as long as you follow the rules of those other communities, selfless spamming of 'other' games can sometimes be disruptive to the community you're in and could have your posts removed and you banned from certain groups. There are usually acceptable ways of promoting outside game communities though so make sure it's done in a way that won't have your removed from your group.

Of course. To adress your concern, I noticed that gamers in this community are encouraged to share and discuss their favorite games. Also that when someone comments on your post, it gets moved to the top. I posted a link to it here, because if people comment on it, it will be moved to the top again, and more people will see it (much like the forums here). I can also comment "BUMP" on my post, but me commenting "Bump" isn't as interesting as a conversation taking place in it.

I agree that spamming would be counter-productive. Gamers who see someone spamming are likely to think that it's a virus of some kind. There are thousands of forums just like this ine with gamers from all over the world. As a community, sharing and discussing utopia in them will attract interested players! It's like any game, sometimes you just have to ask people to play it with you.

Utopia needs to find a niche market. Since this game is based on 'programming and algorithms', it might be wise to entice people who are aspiring developers/coding hobbyist/hardcore programmers who would love to play around with building their own template (i.e. umunk, upoopu etc). That way they can improve on their programming craft WHILE slowly learning and enjoying Utopia.

Can you make that reply on my post on the gamers group? And find other gamers groups and post in them? Don't spam, like David said, just post there and try to get people interested! It would be nice to have more people playing!
