The forum actually dead, wow.

It's a matter for discussion. The core of the problem is the deterioration of values.

Since so many who subscribe to the forums are from the 90s XTreME generation, they lack the nuanced sophistication to simply converse about game related topics. This is the boiled down version of years of inadequate etiquette, and is the result of directness so valued in certain cultures that also can't get along with others.

Some people say they prefer "directness" until they're faced with loneliness based in the very narcissism that forced the implosion they now experience. This is a social, or was, a social game. They attempt to rationalize satisfaction by burning what's left behind them, and it's really just a combination of sociopathic immature shortsightedness. The problem is that it isn't directness, it's the idea that one thinks they can win a battle of rudeness with intellect.

My favorites are guys that say "get your facts straight" to those with the ancient wisdom; In that a narcissistic personality is totally predictable in its ends and the only debate is in its means.
