Affluent ritual effects, namely BE

I'm not seeing a 5% increase in my buildings section, is the effect gradual? I thought it was instant, been monitoring it and my BE is actually decreasing since the ritual started only a few hours ago.

Not sure if this is a bug or part of the ritual mechanics, any feedback please?

The base BE doesn't shift to where it should be immediately, it gradually approaches it. That's why you're seeing the decrease. It's also multiplicative, so if your BE was below 100% before the ritual began, you'll never actually see the full 5%. Conversely, you would see more than 5% if you started above 100%.

I think he is saying BE in general moves slowly, not the effect from the ritual, and this is why his BE was continuing to drop despite the KR going up.

I would have to guess that Wolfric didn't have an exact bead on his BE, and that a combination of having lower than 100% BE, as well as BE that was already descending, resulting in the KR going up and having a reduced effect, while BE continues to drop each tick.
