    Troop Loss Calculations

Will someone help explain to me how troop losses are calculated?

Is it a base % of the amount of troops sent vs troops defending? Anyone know the formula?

Also how do the racial factors affect the base % of troop loss?

    For example an Orc/cleric

    Orc has +10% casualties
    Cleric has -35% casualties

    Then hospitals have -10% casualties

Whats the final casualty %? Are they additive or multiplicative?

    Thank you for your insights!

Your offensive losses have a base amount of 7% of the troops sent. All applicable modifiers are multiplicative. In this case, .07 base * 1.1 orc * .65 cleric * .9 hosps = ~4.5%

Losses on defense, on the other hand, have a base of 5%.

I thought it was 5% base sent, and 7% on defense? Guess I had them reversed

Just like real life, the defender is favored in the exchange. At some point spec credits were added to compensate attackers and create incentive to send out.
