I don't think anyone is advocating for Bart to be thrown in jail, freedom of speech only protects you from your government discriminating against you based on your views and speech, does not extend to a privately owned text based browser game on the internet.

I would be happy if the administration was a good deal more aggressive than they are now at shutting down the toxicity in the game and on these forums.

How can admins delete people for cheating over the ages, while they themselves cheated hardcore... (or in case of Hawk who denies any cheating, willingly played in kingdoms who cheated)

I suggest you please read this thread in it's entirety but more specifically the final post in the thread which I have linked you to here: explanation of ban when it occurred

This user was not banned for 'cheating in the past' - that would be ludicrous.

I won't speak for JeffT, but my understanding from reading his post is that he presumes readers of his post already have the information from the thread that I've linked you to above, which provides a clear and direct explanation for why the user was banned. JeffT was elaborating by stating that his ban was a result of those other reasons listed which built the character of the user. Character is not something that changes on an instant, it is developed over a long period of time. The character of the user is well known and was used as a basis for the considerations taken to reach the ultimate conclusion as stated in the above link.


Bans have never been, and will never be, open to public appeal. If a user wishes to appeal a ban that user may do so personally, not via proxy.
