    Worst preliminary changes ever

    Changes came out

    1 minute after everyone says Avian Undead OP

    2 mins after changes discussion over.

    Did the devs even make an effort this time? Before it was at least some discussions and now there was just silly changes. We had to boot Bishop from the kd because of this incompetence.
    At least I expected some revise proposed changes after those failed preliminary ones.

    i agree that changes look unbalanced, but avian/ud isnt the best Combo imo

    worst in a long time agreed.

    The ingame CF thing looks cool tho.

    Anyways i want my Haffling back you angry angry admins, why do hafflings have to pay in same way as bart an be removed from game ????

    So stuck on race/pers balance... What about mechanic balance?

    A few quick fixes to avoid some of the db/fw/gb culture:

    - Add kingdom pool as a compliment to individual pool
    - Reduce WW land bonus by at least half
    - Make dice create some acres and take some acres from pool

    Honestly these changes are a joke and it feels like they must have done them at the last minute or they don't play the game at all.

    None of the least used races or personalities got any meaningful buffs.

    Races:
    1. Dwarves got a gimmicky bonus that they still haven't explained how it will work. Regardless, dwarves are still bad and no one is gonna pick them still.
    2. Bocans basically just have +1 stealth, I'm not sure anyone considers that honor bonus a real bonus.
    3. Humans also got nerfed even though they weren't particularly strong.
    4. Dryad got no changes even though they weren't well represented either.
    5. Avians lost elite credit training but got a huge -attack time buff. However, it's the combination with the new UD personality that really makes them ridiculous.
    6. Orc bonuses were slightly toned down which I agree with. However, they lost their increased military losses and also combined with the new UD personality, it makes them a strong choice as well.
    7. Dark Elves were split into 2 races that are both worse than the original. Elves are still ok but the new Dark Elves are a joke.

    Personalities
    1. Heretics got a tiny buff of decreased thief losses from 50% to 66% which does almost nothing.
    2. Warriors also got no changes even though they weren't well represented. I see no reason to pick this over UD.
    3. UD and cleric, which were both very well represented, got combined into a personality that basically takes the best of both. If I had to suggest changes to this, I would say

    Spreads and is Immune to The Plague
    -66% Offensive Losses
    50% of troop losses converted to soldiers
    Starts with +800 soldiers and +800 specialist credits
    Access to Greater Protection

    to

    Access to Animate Dead

    As it is now, Avian/UD and Orc/UD are the only choices for any serious war KD. For T/Ms, everyone will be choosing a bunch of Faeries and maybe a few Elves.

    How can any of you even be looking at the race/pers noise yet? The mechanics require the most immediate attention. We need to get these land bonuses out of here if we ever want to play a round of Utopia again.

    Can't we have just 1 real round before it all shuts down? Then we will leave and you can go back to the warring stuff.

    War bonuses need to be toned down. Enforced CF is a huge joke.

    Maybe they could just get 100 scientists and prince rank when they win instead of the land. Would be a lot more balanced. We also need banks (kd pool) back though to increase the benefit of not being in conflict. It would reduce this violent boredom that gets redirected into developing ****play schemes.

    What if the ww bonus was solely honor and winning kd got acres in there kd pool.

    Make EOWCF 96 hours - exit early at min 48hr

    +100% science generation
    -50% ritual cost
    -40% Military training time and cost
    +40% draft speed
    -50% draft cost
    -50% Construction time and cost
    +500% Birth Rate
    +500% Explore penalty
    Mandatory 7 day cf after exiting eowcf

    Only those chained during war would get a complementary 300a or so.
