    1. Merging them with one kingdom or two or three wouldnt change the fact that they still would be bad players. They would still be bad players but in larger quanties. You dont solve the problems with shoving bad players toghter when they need good players to teach them.
And they're more likely to find someone to teach them by being stuck in a kingdom that isn't receiving players rather than getting merged with other players?

Just a reminder, I already played with you and steel and Bishop in a shell (among other shells). I'm aware of the situation in shells. Mergers might not be the perfect solution, but it's a whole lot better than just letting them fester in purgatory until they decide to quit

I don't recall you playing with us before. Unless you multi or use fake nicks. Its not something I'm prepared to rule out, I've played with you before under those circumstances apparently.

But who is saying that those kingdoms aren't receiving new players? Unless they actively decide not to get new players by activating the Wall, they should be getting randoms still. Of course most randoms are not real players so thats irrelevant, but these kingdoms do get merged every 3 months and always end up in the same shape?

Can't help ghettos being consolidating them. And by that I mean, 'kingdoms that are devoid of activity or organization'.

You'll just create bigger, actual ghettos, which pose more risks for the people in them (see Elit's post).

A kingdom like the one I was in last age was just riddled with inactives, they don't need teaching, they need purging. The danger is that the few active people there leave the game altogether. I propose to the devs to vastly improve the in-game recruiting system - so the few active people can find a reasonable home, make it a sole goal for the time being, forget rituals and all that crap, you got bigger problems. Make it more accessible, easier to use and pronounced.

EoA mergers should be decided by KD recruitment stats
So should randoms allocation I think.

Administration can then approach the handful of undermanned/predominantly inactive kingdoms directly to ask if theyd like to be found a merger or something.

It's actually damn sad the state in which building a new kingdom from scratch is at the moment. Basically impossible without prior connections. I found a gem of a player in the same kingdom, if I didn't ask Bart to find us something we'd still be stuck there or something. The guy himself doesn't know you can search for a new kingdom in the forum or anything, he doesn't know this exists even. The kingdom he landed in is all he knows unless someone helps him.

Last time I did something was a while ago, but basically agree with Matija. You can do something if you get lucky at start of age, but is basically impossible during the age.

Of all the ghettos I've landed in over the years, just 1 had the potential to be a decent kingdom, and it was run by dizzysky who at least has a moderate grasp on the game.

None of the others had any potential. Handful of sort of present players who sucked and twice as many absentee provs or flat out inactives.

Biggest problem is randoms. Wall helped a bit but it'd be nice to see stats on how many provs are created each age and never again used or serve as farms before theyre left to auto abandon.

We trolled Godly with taunts. I suggested spelling his name wrong. I contributed a couple Taylor Swift taunts. Octo was there and tried to pull off his <400 acre prince strategy before people got mad and killed him iirc. I'm pretty sure I went inactive and the prov died.

I guess that's proof enough what a poor impact you made. :(

Palem was always getting pounded to smithereens in war, but he was much at ease with it. May've been his war forum hijinx, but he was a pro eating chains. They'd massacre, learn, raze, trad...he was fine.

My favorite thing in TFC was attacking enemy heavy attackers bigger than myself. There's something uniquely satisfying locking horns with undead(rip) and orcs when running faery. Nobody else lets you do that. I learned I could get away with it running elf attackers in other kingdoms. You just sneak in as a M/a when really you're a m/HA.
