    Honor and attacking

    I'm an oldtimer coming back to the game. I remember somthing about not gaining honor from anything but trad. march, is it ture?

    I can't find any info about it in the wiki

    Yes, only attack you gain honor from is Traditional March.

    I'm 90% sure in war you can get honor from conquest. Idk about oow.

    Negative ghost rider... honor only with "successful" attacks. Successful being 100%. Conquests aren't 100%

    Well I know people in my kd have reported honor gains and losses from CQ, but I haven't seen a before/after myself.

    well it sort of makes sense that it should not since conquests does not count towards succesfull attacks. I'm just sad that greed and drougth does not give honor oow, atleast the return is so low I haven't seen any.

    you gain honor from conquest in war. have had multiple faeries lose honor that way over the ages.

    That is interesting, will have to take a look at that logic in the code. Doesn't really make sense to have it take honor since it is considered a failed attack.

    Pretty sure conquest in war has been this way since ~ age 15...

    i've lost 600+ honor in war via conquest when i was a marquis before. so its defintaly intended

    maybe they'll intend to change that now, sure sounds like it might be on the cards according to Davids comment

    I mean, of course they are free to change it if they want to. In that case I would hope they do so because of gameplay/balancing reasons and not because "conquest is not considered a successful attack".
