Pillz always seems to be aggressive toward others and I don't really understand why. Yeah it's obvious that everyone makes the odd mistake or perhaps even come across as arrogant or almighty like with their thoughts or actions. Does this give people like pillz the right to mouth off? Proteus is an excellent utopian who does what is required as honourable as possible to succeed. It's true that everyone sometime or an other will make wrong moves and try to cover it up as we are all imperfect human beings but pillz man please try to wind your neck in a few inches as you seem to think you are some kind of godlike figure in these forums. I don't mean to offend you intentionally but man you seriously need to climb down from your pedestal and take a few chill pills. Proteus on the other hand would easily own you in terms of utopia and it's stupid mechanics :) have a good day sir!!!

Pillz, you seriously need to stop with your trolling/hating on Emeriti. Did them not succeeding to win every war hurt you in any way?

Emeriti used a setup that would crush anybody smaller - with bigger attackers they could just feed off of anybody smaller than them and with so many attackers they could whore more effectively.
Also a big advantage for them is that they should be able to farm a kingdom in a mintime war, WD and then slap them silly in a B2B if that kingdom doesn't have a big number of war wins. Last few ages the top didn't reach that high up in war tiers so the bonuses they got from a WW weren't that great. What stopped Emeriti was a long hostile with BB giving time for others to catch up and overgrow them and their top competitors having high war win count - so them taking acres and doing a tactical WD wasn't an option any more. This age things went on differently and warring kingdoms grew to their size and their WW bonus were massive. If this was a regular age they'd rock it with their setup.

Now to talk about the war:

We started the war on 5% more military and ~16% more tpa/wpa/sci. They had 12% more networth due to us being spec heavy. Out faeries/elves ran OSPA, and our orcs ran ospa as well as they couldn't pump elites in time to fight.
Beginning of fight they had 46M off, while we had 23M off. Defense stats are the other way around - we had 16M def (most of it kept home), while they had 13M def (most of it sent out in dryad elites).
Once war started they had a 135% Godspeed while we had a 114% Godspeed. They instantly sent a Ruby and funded an Emerald - so we decided just to tank the Ruby. We funded a Sapphire and didn't send it straight away.

Once war started they went in on hitting down our T/Ms and side tapping our orcs while we decided to chain 2-3 dryads per wave. This went on for two days and it was pretty much repetitive. They had good gains as they were hitting T/Ms in range and smacking smaller orcs for side gains while we had to attack 200% up to bring down their top dryads. Our position looked worse and worse as they were taking more and more land with every wave. We couldn't keep their networth under check and it was hard hitting down a much bigger attacker.

At the 48h mark we sent the Sapphire and ARed their ritual. They ARed ours as well.

They put up a 105% Godspeed and we had to respond with a Godspeed as well to remain competitive in the acre trading department. But we had to control their econ so we were drained for runes/mana by our FB runs on their faeries so we only managed a 60% Godspeed.
By then most of their big dryads were pulled down, their faeries left with no peasants so we started getting better gains as we slowly pulled down all their dryads into hitting range for our orcs. Our T/Ms were hurt badly but as we played them as attackers they could just trade hits with their dryads while we kept our big dwarves afloat. Our dwarves could start sending out more and more since we took down all their big off provs.

At 72h mark almost all of their dryads were in 100-150% range of our orcs. So the orc battery came into place with their extra gains. Our 2 big dwarves were able to send all out and remain UB. We still had somewhat functioning T/Ms and we started reclaiming land through hitting their bloated dryads that racked up on land from the start of the war. We were up by 30% in peasants and 20% in military/ tpa/wpa/sci. If they kept on going our banks would just continue growing unchecked.

All in all this was a great war. Both sides did very well fought their hardest. Had Emeriti wanted to do a tactical WD they would have gotten out much larger than they're now. But they'd still be in a weird spot to war us/Barco so they put on their warrior hats and just tried winning this war. Hats off to them for sticking to it and playing the war game.

Congratulations to both sides and I both hate and love you all. I am too exhausted to think now. I need to sleep for a couple of weeks before committing to the game again :D
