    Game Start\Protection

Back in the old days there used to be (I think) 3 days of protection after the start of the game. Is that still the case?

That's quite a lot less. Hardly any time to build pop or draft much.

The best kingdoms still rise to the top, though the player base has compacted quite a bit. And I'm not among the best; just fact.

Everyone is at the same disadvantage, obviously. OOP wars are a lot of fun because people don't have time to fuss over every little detail.

we did not have specialist credits and build credits back in the day, you can be approximately as drafted now as you could then and be in partly warbuild OOP.
Furthermore I think Carthage should be destroyed and Dryads brought back to the game
