    Age 88 Power Charts

    I see it has been awhile since anyone posted any form of 'Power Rankings'. Still not playing myself, but I happened by the discord; saw changes were upcoming and so I set up a chart. Its not as comprehensive as some of my previous editions- I'm not digging as deep into things like racial spells, BR, army sustainability.

    These charts use the following assumptions;

    wage = 100%
    net income = base wages
    pop=max, all peons employed
    no prisoners, horses are matched to unit numbers
    no spells
    the only buildings are listed in the images below, as well as a bit of science
    cost/acre is in hectogc, 1hgc=100gc

    Attacker sets

    Thief and Wizard sets

    I anxiously await that guy who never fails to come and let me know this is a waste of time! I guess others inputs are welcome also...

    OK i realize thats a bit much info, and probably not all of it useful.... i've done a redesign and i believe i came up with a more palatable format to use going forward;

    no science
    no homes
    pop=max
    100% wages
    net=0
    farms=needed
    15% guilds
    runeprod=0.75/acre
    stables=fullmount
    dungeons=fullsend
    remaining acres split evenly over forts/tgs
    70% off units, 30% def units
    2 rtpa (faery; 2/1.15)
    1 rwpa (faery; 1/1.15)
    attack time=13.6h

    I used excel solver to target max off units, by adjusting peons/acre, barracks%, towers%, and following the aforementioned assumptions

    no science
    pop=max
    100% wages
    net=base wages [much difference from net=0 on attackers]
    farms%=needed
    15% td/wt
    15% guilds
    runeprod=1.75/acre
    all remaining acres go to forts
    100% def units
    5rtpa faery 5/1.15
    2rwpa faery 2/1.15
    cost/acre_ifwiz = if tpa and wpa were inverted

    solver targets max mdpa by adjusting forts%, towers%, homes%, peons/acre, as well as minding the aforementioned assumptions.

    - ofc Undead wouldn't likely push 40% forts, but solver wants max mdpa, not extra runes or wizards

    Good work, RattleHead.

    It’s lost on me but not on the players I use to associate with.

    Thank you.
