BREAKDOWN 2 - it occurred to me I’d like the faeries to be primary intel gatherers and not risk loss of tpa as a guideline.
I’ve switched all faeries to mystic, elf mystic to sage, and dark elf sage to heretic. Since elf has fountain they can optimize sage, and since dark elf has a superior rune consumption economy I switched the sage to heretic. I’m play testing a human sage at the moment to confirm +25% book generation. This helped open my eyes to the viability of elf sage.

ELLIPTICAL BATTLE ARRAY 2 - the HQ unit is shored up with the halfling rogue from one of the assault divisions. The rogue was switched for human sage. The HQ division is designed as a support division and is thus less attack potent but more versatile now. The assault divisions double as dual economy centers with vast resources to combat more militaristic kingdoms through attrition. The downside is this alignment depends more on wizard assassination and possible massacre more than the previous.

This is a virtual kingdom template that is divided as evenly as possible with race and personality. The point is to analyze the balance of the mechanics. While some kingdoms have whoring strats and others war and honor, this is a practice in studying strengths and weaknesses.

By familiarizing oneself with the mechanics of all races and personalities my endeavor is to help newer players recognize weaknesses and strengths rather than follow what looks most efficient in flat values that change rapidly in game.

PS: The idea was brought on by my fascination with The Faery Circle. I learned faeries can be among the most effective attackers, so my perceptions were enlightened. I wondered what a kingdom built as versatile as possible might look like. It triggered my strategic brain cell.

Dwarves and Buildings

The reason are obvious but sometimes newer players may not be exposed to fundamentals in use. Observe that dwarves build at -50% cost and have a +25% efficiency bonus. If you look at the bottom of your build page you’ll see:

Accelerated Construction (Double Cost and/or use of Free Building Credits)

So if dwarves pay full cost they can get acres that would otherwise be non-productive into action faster. This isn’t just a build tactic, this can be a kingdom strategy where stolen gold or tree of gold by teammates can jack their kingdom economy. Add in artisan speed and productivity or well planned war spoils from tactician and the number of dormant acre ticks per age can be cut significantly. The age can be thought of as a campaign as well as a war to war tourney.

Strato, is there a Uto simulator out there somewhere? I've looked high & low can't find any

I’m guessing the Genesis server is the best bet. (I’m retired from the game) and create a random province in the main server (legends?), check the charts, run my experiments and abandon + raze my province within hours. I don’t like to interfere with random kingdoms but I missed the tech leap to apps, and I’m too paranoid to fiddle in things I have only a passing interest. Thus, I have no communication with the community like we did with the Mibbits forum. Current forum is on discord where I’m sure a wealth of information is available. I live by the motto “ never let them take you to the second location “ which is why I’m not an app user.

I wish you good luck. I might try the genesis server myself; it’s just that I’m use to doing things one way.
