i just posted facts from our side when i noticed the story was about dragon slaying. That was also as far as my "reading" his story went. I reply in any way i feel.

There's no worries here, I'm not offended. You don't have to be cuddly and friendly, just saying people will probably not ever really respect you unless you act classy. My advice is you take some pointers on how to be classy from Dorje, that's all. Anyways, keep up the good work forcing the dicers to war, it helps keeping the game alive :)

Acting classy is boring. Thats why i stay mean and keep myself filled with hatred. Its the only way i know how to compete and stay active. Else this game gets WAY to boring and you earn to few enemies. This is a strategic war-game in my eyes. Even if most would not agree with me. I need things happening around me after 50 ages of playing this game. Some way to make it fun still and not only some wierd and geeky addiction. The last two ages been decently fun since we decided to **** around some with the top and get ourselfs into some conflicts we dont belong in. It keeps people active and things interesting.

I can be a dick, because this is a game. I can be classy at work, i can be the nicest guy irl. Here i do what i want.
I treat my players really good and the KD morale is great and they are having fun. I kept my KD rolling for over 50 ages.
Dont tell me how i should act or what i should do. I have more players wanting to play for me then most others.
Just because we play this style and we lead in this style.

Depends on how you define "fail". The interaction proved every single one of my suspicions, so it means I'm not blind. Of course I was hoping they were wrong, so it's sad too. Most people don't have what it takes :)

I'd tend to agree respect and class is overrated in a game that is very much segregated into various social cliques. What purpose does it serve to be nicer to your enemies? Am I honestly a better leader if i treat flogger the same way I treat Dorje the same way I treat Anri? Personally, I don't think so.

We did a conquest for 400a on one of them.
I did PF and 1 NM on him.
I think its possible if they grow some more they are in for trouble.

As "luc the diplomat" I'd say there's a difference between arrogance and arrogance, depending on what foundation you build it on. Some people can afford being arrogant (though I have yet to see it have any useful effects), some can't. Pragmatism and respectfulness beats rule of fear tactics way too often for the latter to a smart strategic decision in the long run.

As for being "nicer to your enemies", I'd say that if you're busy making real enemies in a game like this, you're too emotionally invested or covering for RL deficiencies. Most of us have been there and done that, but when it goes on forever it's a bit sad, no? People who have to belittle others to feel better about themselves are rather pathetic in my eyes.

Also, some people hide behind the "troll" word and use it as a shield against their own insecurities (again I think you catch my drift). I'd say the chance of that being positive for anyone at all is slim. Not everyone is cut out to be a role model I guess.

The most interesting part is that Luc and many others are not better themselfs.
But they like to think they are. Yet here they are talking down to me and try to tell me how to talk and how to do diplomacy in this game. Belittle people as he called it. I been called many things over the last ages. People are trying to psychologically evaluate my personality. They think RL deficiencies has anything to do about this game. Stop being a pretend psychologist Luc. This is a game, nothing else. You think you are a top notch diplomat, how come you just made yourself an enemy you never had? Think about that "arrogant Luc". You play your game, you talk your way, you do your thing and i do my thing. It is very simple. There must be a good side and a bad side, a jing and a jang, something to keep everything balanced. Simians is one of the balancing factors between mexico and absalom.
We fight on all fronts, thats how we want it right now. A "wordfeud" or strategic feud makes things very interesting. Now stop derailing my thread with your nonsense and let us talk about the war.

Activity is coming back since weekend is over.

Inside Simians: Maverick got arrested, Imp4ct was hospitalized after a dirt-bike accident, Calle got way to drunk, Alaris had GF problems. 3 players activated sitting over weekend. Realm was afk getting wasted while using a tree as a campfire. What else happend. I dont know. Activity sucked but most had their reasons. No one told me the dog ate their computers at least. GG

Sanctuary have better activity then we do over weekends. We have better activity in week-days. :)
