After negotiations between the U and Sparta broke down, the U served notice to Sparta. This was rather unexpected to us because we thought the U would engage Pandas and we had a no notice into notice deal. But since Pandas farmed out to our competition that war was called off and there we were. Sparta quickly went fort to start drafting, having about 100M more gc than the U but of course significantly more land.

After staring at each other for some hours, Sparta took the initiative and waved. The U declared 3 hours later and chained 2 of Sparta's Avians. Next wave of Sparta coming in soon, with the difference in speed clearly visible (U's dwarves don't run rax as far as I've seen).

Should be an interesting war and I have great admiration for Erv and his crew to war rather than tax. So far I've seen some pretty interesting moves by the U which shows that they're still constantly upping their game. Shouldn't be long before they will be up there at the top all age long!
