No overactive monarch who is yelling orders that I cannot be bothered to follow. The best are the KD's with no monarch at all. Then just hope no bottom feeder is going to notice you. This way you can have a nice an relaxed age. Not to much stress.

But if you like the calm quiet life, i can reccomend my strat from age 16 or so. I called it the happy farmer strat: 20% homes 40% farms and 40% stables.then you can just put the straw in your mouth and gaze out over your fields and enjoy watching the horses frolic.

I used to play undead about 6 to 8 years ago. The game hasn't changed much since back then. The top kingdoms still bottom feed and the small kingdoms can do nothing about it and after 40 ages are still a small insignificant kingdom.
