    DE = new Faer T/M

    age 35 faery:
    +50% Magic Effectiveness
    No Runes Needed
    +1 Stealth Recovery / Hour
    15% Enemy Spells Fail

    -10% Max Population

    3/6 Elite - $1200
    DE:
    * +30% Spell Strength (from Elf)
    * No Runes Needed
    * +1 Offensive Specialist Strength
    * +1 Stealth Recovery / Hour

    * +20% Exploration Costs

    * 5/6 elite at 6.5 NW and 800 gc (from 5/6 at 6.5 NW and 1000 gc)
    only reason faer would be considered better is cause of slightly different magic bonus, otherwise DE > faer =)

    YAH! return of the faeries! ( I always liked those guys, I almost feel like we should change the name back to Faeries too. We already have a elf, we dont need a dark one (drow) in this game do we?)

    this ages Darkelfs >>>> old ages faeries though ;) (-10% pop sucked)

    Faeries wouldnt last in this age, the DEs are better over all at both T&M ops and have much stronger elites...i think everyone who missed Faeries is finally gonna get over em with the DE lookin much sexier now

    adding to that, can anyone point out why a DE/Rogue wouldnt be one of the best combos this age?

    faeries wer the defination of the spell book.... they had every spell. with rogue they will hav every thing. +50% efectivness, and they also got +1 stealth, if they r brought back i feel like they DO stand a chance against DE

    actually, the old elf had the entire spell book, and the old elf/rogue. had all possible spells and thievery operations! faery/rogue, didnt!

    i cant remember all of the spells that faery didnt have, but a few of them im pretty sure was pitfalls, vermin...cant remember the rest! anyone remember?

    FAERY
    Faeries have advantages in magic and thievery. They are the only race to have access to all of the magic spells. They make very good T/M’s, especially with the rogue personality which will give you access to every magic and thievery operation......

    that infomation is incorrect nightcrave! faeries didnt have access to all spells! that was a unique quality of the old elves, and rogue does not give you access to the spell book, only the 3 unique thievery operations!

    i know, b/c i played both as t/m many ages ago when they were still around! and i do miss them to some extent, they were fun to play! but oh well!

    edit...i think that fearies once upon a time, might of had all spells? but that was before i started to play, just to cover my ass! :P

    just saw your edit :P

    so...my evidence is my memory of actually playing them, since i didnt save the guide at the time, b/c i didnt think i would need to cut/paste, i cant very well prove it! :/

    they mean faery"PLUS"rogue gave them access to every magic spells (being a faery) and thievery operation (being rogue)

    anyway i hav looked at other sites and some say elfs did others say faery. so they were probably switched at one point

    i think your right, thats whats confusing both of us, when i started to play, fearies didnt have all spells, elves did, so as you say they was switched at some point, much like whats happening now!

    oh well, we got there in the end, lol

    well yea i do remember faeries had it, and now i believe elfs got it.

    not thinking of it remember one time genesis changes for elfs was all spells and no runes O_O. good times

    DEs are new whatever you want. A lot better than old fae`s. The old fae used to have -5% or -10% income (i think they had both at different times). Also their offense sucked. And if i`m not mistaken they didnt have NM or Tog.
