I agree with everything DHaran has said.
I think overall this will improve the game and make mid range kd easier able to compete with those top kd that always have a 25 base or trade in anyways.
Come on, someone keep arguing with me I am almost to Post Fiend!

but being productive just isnt fun
I find it so ignorant of the people here to completely dismiss the weaker Kingdoms as not worthy enough to even think about.
The game is sooooooo heading in the wrong direction if this is the mindset of OMAC. I really feel for the games future!Catwalk: The weak will fall, yes
FWIW my Kingdom stands to gain rather handsomely from these changes. We're mid ranged but have a good player base, and we have a few contacts from good players who are in weak Kingdoms who are looking to move. We're on the tenterhooks though -- those below us won't be as well off and will struggle I fear, as highlighted by the fact that we're already taking strong provinces away from weaker Kingdoms.
Even though I'll be gaining alot, I still strongly disagree with the change.
BTW, how did this thread turn into this?
I think all the things Dillbert fears with the changes in trading/sitting rules already happen. It's just under the spotlight now because it's legal. Are not all decent monarchs attempting to upgrade/replace players with stronger players (usually from weaker kds)? Don't over analyze it...just go with it. The show will go on.
Your mom called. She said "stop being a baby!"
exactly. This is the only chance the weak will ever have of rising from the cellar of Uto.

Dillbert, you want rules saying that kingdoms can't fail? And note that I'm not referring top/bottom whatever. A kingdom can be top 10% and weak. Weak kingdoms disband. A kingdom can also be bottom 10% and strong, leading to formation of a kingdom core and steady progress.
