    Orc needs T/M protection less than human and dwarf, and neither of those two whine over it.
    Why?

    Becase anyone can get and run 2 raw TPA and 2 raw WPA, plus watchtowers - if they want.

    Even if orc got some sort of protection, it wouldn't change the fact that the biggest thing that makes orc unplayable this age is the same as that's plagued elf for years: no economy.

    Free draft would solve that kinda fast.

    Mine are among the minority of posts in this thread that have a coherent fundamental strategy behind them. If you are too blind to see it then I'll try to explain it in more simple terms. And NO... I'm not claiming they are perfect or the answer to every problem in the game but they are "suggestions" in the erm.... suggestion thread!! Are you getting it yet???

    So... in more simple terms for the children to understand.......

    I would like to move the emphasis of the game back to being a "War Game" where attacking is fundamental to Kingdom growth and where the rewards in NW, land and honour for your Kingdom (mostly) accumulate from ATTACKING and not from magic or thievery. What the hell is so "honourable" about thievery anyway?? And why not make homes a bit "overpowered" for an age or two? What are you people afraid of??? I just don't get the reasoning behind the fear and the negativity (hostility???) being displayed.

    If you have a suggestion or want to oppose a suggestion made then take some timeout and get it typed up and post it. Properly. Smartass oneliners are just a waste of everybodies time.

    I am genuinely disheartened that people can't behave decently and post something helpful or at least positive in this thread which is probably THE most important thread of the age when it comes to formulating game changes for the next age.

    Please wake up and smell what you are shoveling.

    here is a few of the ideas I liked


    new food system to make food a bigger part of the game.
    made as a draft system where you can choose to feed your people more or less, and by doing so get bonuses or drawbacks.

    make an army that is fully mounted faster, like 5-10%

    remove NW based attack times in war

    get some or all of the old races back, or make new ones.

    give bigger honor revards for winning a war, like the losers lose 3%, and the winners gain 5%.

    get rit of monthly honor penelty in war.

    Shadowlight spell, change it to a duration spell that protects 20 or 25% resources from thievery same effect as the second part of WT's not the successrate but the gains rate.

    make orc elite 8/3

    remove ambush protection from warrior

    give warrior 20% less attack time again instead of 15%

    make the human magic penilty not affect self spells.

    give orc free draft, but only make them able to use normal and below.

    give mystic +1 mana regen, along with +25% extra rune production, then lower the effect on guilds to +50% from double.

    make homes house 10 people extra instead of 8

    make greater protection give 15% less troops lost.

    fix the paper bug,

    make some kind of timer next to your prov in your masteraccount so you know when you last logged - would help ppl not to screw up their 20/12h boni

    make paradise stronger again, but make it take 50% of the acres from the explore pool

    Shift immunity to fog from dwarf to one of the other races

    bring back old war hero, +1 general +50% effect on honor

    Artisan should be changed to a 20% BE bonus

    give orc a mini plunder on there trad march

    give human a mini learn on there attacks

    give learn protection to libraries

    remove learn protection from schools, but double there other bonus

    If you want to make the game focus harder on attacking, it will take far more than what your suggesting in order to make people stop playing a t/m. T/M's and their strategies have been apart of this game for a long time now. They have been hit with a nerfbat so many times its almost even ridiculous. As it stands, it is a relatively simple matter to pump a minor 2 wpa/tpa to make the ops/spells ran against you more difficult.

    Honorable thief ops retain justification as being honorable simply because your forgetting that one side's terrorist, is still the other sides freedom fighter.

    Making homes "overpowered" for an age or too still remains to be seen as something that could, mostly, be used for potential exploitation. Moreover, even in terms of your own argument, giving homes that kind of depth will also give the t/m's your looking to overthrow that many more peasants to convert to wizards and thieves that your claiming you don't want to run ops/cast. Which negates even the argument your trying to make.
    When the nay-sayers pipe up with talk of exploitation through strategy and planning I'm reminded of a Jack Nickolson quote, "I think of a man, then I remove logic and reason from him"

    20% might be abit 2 much, with dwarf it would be 2 scary, but point is something should be done with artisan, it currently sucks.

    Fog is fine the way it is, but having it and immunity to it on the same race is bad.

    Curious to see what changes they do make. I dont think 10 days is enough time to gather ideas, decide what changes to make implement them and test them.

    But the orc ideas i think are valid.

    Give them CS. either remove it from elf or give it to both.

    free draft locked from none to normal.

    I think 3 hours for fog is way to crazy, might not make any big difference for some dude who aint warrior and using 0 rax. but for an elf warrior with 20% rax, well it can take my attack time from close to 6 hours with massacre to 9 hours, meaning a 50% increase. and excuse me if I find that abit overpowered.
