In the past, BG was a time op, but not for a long duration. If it was a till 1st hit duration, you would normally have kept it (assumption based on other ops durations, I.E. animate dead, anon) until you were next attacked. This, in the past, depended on the number of thieves sent. If you guys had only send 10 thieves to BG, it may have made so short a duration that the hit only lasted long enough for the first hit.
Additional support for a time duration BG, I have caught BG immediately before attacks... but many hours after the last hit.
Everyone has standards. Some are just higher than others.
has anyone even confirmed BG works on anything but offensive attacks?
What i have noticed, is that they loose about 2x as many soldiers as you do when you attack them, just before you place BG on them... so i have seen it work while they are on defense...
