    Tips on warring mostly Orc KD....

    A few Gnomes and DE's

    Any suggestions other than to have GS...

    Random thought but would this be a case where nw optimization comes in. Hopefully you'd be running some extra hospitals and the name of the game would be strategically distance yourelf nw wise from their most active players. Because that would mean fewer gains.

    Whether than mean NS and MS their most actives a lot that's normal war protocol, but I'm wondering if vs. an orc kingdom, conquests might be a better option. Because 1. you may suffer higher casualties, that likely won't be as much of a toll on your defensive forces and 2. your nw will go down a little more reducing their gains they can get from you. But I don't know the conquest #'s and it would probably depend on the differences in your kingdoms but if conquests let you double tap and incidently let them get less land overall then that would be ideal.

    Wouldn't the math in this case be if the nw/a for a double tap conquest were significantly lower than nw/a after a TM but the acreage is the same why wouldn't you do the double tap conquest? You'd want to make sure that they were suffering greater casualties then too which wouldn't be as difficult as most kingdoms if they are getting more gains than normal it'd be harder for them to keep MS's and NS's/ propoganda down.

    Conquesting of Gnome vs Orc is a bad idea.....

    Fighting an Orc KD has been similar for many ages now, they will definitely be up a lot of land after 24-36hrs, but you need to pull out all the T/M works and blanket the orcs with ops to kill their Econ and reduce the troops they can draft per hour.

    Ambush to kill their offense, then MS to kill defense (after a while even if you are mainly consistent of low MO provs you should soon be able to Ambush then do a normal hit). Use NS to kill off both offense and defense.

    But a very important step is to Storm ALL of the Orcs who just had acres come in, this prevents their pop growth and will limit how many troops they can draft per hour, which will mess up how they replenish their offense.

    Once you kill a Orcs offense they are useless.

    My KD once vsed an 75% orc KD, the trick was to simply out last them (we won, the war lasted for 5 days). Another note is to make sure that they are constantly Greed and Rioted (as they can't use credits for defence). If you want to really mess the KD up also make sure that your Mages have explosions cast on them 24/7, therefore screwing up some aid that they may get sent.

    the easiest and most effective way is to drag hostile, keep as much meteor and riot on them as possible, while trying to catch orcs with full elites home and hit them, or hit orcs near max pop to make their peasants leave. also ambush as much as possible

    in the meantime keep up with ur econ, get lots of banks/hosp and retrain ur troops

    do that for 2~3 days. if u do it right there is no way u will loose

    PS: THE KEY IS DRAG HOSTILE IF U WANT AN EASY WAR! u get gangbang protection in hostile, so u r partially protected from orc's brutal chaining. also troop losses r much greater in hostile so it'll make it faster to outlast

    and u dont need GS if do it correctly. waste of space. get banks instead

    Although they didn't bite our next potential target looks to have many orcs as well so we will put them to good use.

    @Free Enternub: Please stop theorycrafting in areas you don't fully understand. You are overcomplicating things for posters who need concise answers. And no, warring orcs is most definitely not about 'nw optimization' or conquesting.

    @OP: Orcs' pop/military growth cannot keep up with their gains, and as a consequence if they successfully hit without receiving retals they will not be able to keep up their tpa/wpa. Use this to your full advantage. Let a handful of them attack and get fat, and have the majority of thief ops focus NS on that group. Chain another handful as best you can. Once the handful of fatties is fat enough switch to chain them and let another handful of orcs get fat (and proceed to NS them once they are). Rinse and repeat. The goal is to ensure that you are constantly NSing at least one group of orcs with a high success rate at all times. You will likely be behind in land for a bit, but their military growth wont keep up, especially if you ambush correctly. Blanketing and dragonplay is also a must obviously.
