I think with all the whining about the age being short, avoiding another short age is better.

People chose their races/perso's based on this being a 1 month age. Combos with a bad late game want to be stuck with them for an extra 5-6 weeks even less then they would want another short age I would think.

I think we should have another short age rather than extend it. OMAC should always keep their word.

you must have access to a different blog to me, all i see are approximate timings announced. Dont be surprised if a coding project runs over.

Pretty bad job of 'approximating' when a 4 week age is announced and you want to now extend that another 4-6 weeks don't you think?

no, i think its next to impossible to know how long a code re-write of a game like uto would take. as long as they update us as they learn more then im happy.

This is about keeping the age length to what was stated. The recode is a completely different topic

Yea and then we get to sit here and listen to you all ***** about not getting changes, or new age bugs, and age reset causing trading problems, and blah blah blah.

No thank you. Extending the age is ftw. Short ages are ftl.

the age length was based on an approximate length it would take for the recode/beta. but i'm betting people will complain either way - if you want a short age then please post some reasons.

Actually, all those whining in these forums is almost ridiculous.

"Oh, I did fail to cast this spell a couple of time with my human.... why not blame OMAC, and make a complete pointless statement that there is no other explanation for this failed spell than OMAC who didn't remove Autofail" .....and "Oooooh, I fail to pick the right targets.... but wait: no, obviously it's OMAC who nerfed the Undead Elite Conversion Rate into uselessness."...... yeah, right?

I wasn't complaining about the age extension. I was complaining about the horrible 'approximation'. lol

Have you ever been involved in any programming task?

Seriously, it's rather impossible to set an 100% accurate release date, since there will always be such situation in which you have to deal with unexpects setbacks, annoying bugs etc etc etc....

    Duke Nukem anyone?

Blizzard is notorious for horrible release date announcements, and it gets bumps by years.

The difference is that the quality of their product is worth it, whereas OMAC has failed to shown they understand and care about this game.
