static defense isn't an issue in war. your army should be out anyway. and DE can over-build and attack with a 5/6 elite. and to whoever said DEs econ sucks, they have tog - their econ is fine.
elves are just way better though

ToG is great but you can't use it in war as your limited mana will be used on nightmares and fireballs and whatnot
