    Your privacy on the internet

The United States Government may be tracking and recording everything you do on the internet and you wouldn't know.

    Do you support this?

I would think that the type of information they would be gathering would be both very personal towards the person and very useless for "stopping terrorists". Even then, if there were terrorists to catch and they were caught, what we sacrifice by allowing this will never be less than what we could prevent.

You know it's fun to mess with the U.S. government services. Just mention the word "Afghanistan" or "Al Qaida" on your website or "Myanmar agent" (don't have a clue why that's so important) and you get a hit of some U.S. marines not so secret agency.
Corruption is a serious impediment to civil liberties.

Frankly, the government (be is the US' or my own) is the least of my worries, because the government of any country has other things to worry about than making my life miserable as a person (and if they care about re-election, has no incentive whatsoever to make my life miserable as a person unless I partake in criminal activities like tax evasion).

I worry more about cyber-criminals stealing various piece of personal informations for nefarious purposes (identity theft, robbing the house when I'm not here and kidnapping/stalking for the wealthy/famous) or just someone who has a beef against me and the know-how to collect info about my life and put it out there for everyone with divergent opinions about how one's life should be lived to scrutinize and criticize.

    http://www.uaff.info/militarytracking.htm

Navy Network Information Center was the one I got a hit from lol

If you think about it, then the hit is probably from a bot, like the one google uses to make their searches. If the U.S. government have their own bot, then it means they apparently don't trust google anymore, which could be because google opened up market in I dunno China perhaps. Maybe they fear the company is infiltrated by Chinese spies. Or in other words Anne Chapman knows you visit porn sites stinkyfeet to look up naked pictures of her. ;)

    LOL,

They can track you by using your cell phone if you have Global Position tech in it. If it doesn't they can track your general area by using the cell phone tower when you make a call. In America they have to get a warrant to do this. Didn't realize this until the police used it to find a suspect in a missing person case. Then zoom in with the spy bot and count your nose hair!
