IF he had more losses than gains, and did not have any explored land, that would be one thing (He'd still have the 400 starting acres plus the 5/day) but he has more acres gained than lost. That is normal.
Less than 100 acres/attack is really not impressive. Especially for someone your size.

Terrible gains per attack but meh, I was small for a long time. "Failed" attacks are actually ambushes, they don't show as success for who knows what reason.

The highest land total does not include the attack I currently have coming in (330+ acres). Additionally, the one "failed" attack I have made was a conquest of a big t/m in a war, in which I still gained 150+ acres. There should also be some 5 acres/day in there too.

It has to do hitting very very far down to drop def so kd mates can break on occasion. Usually aim for that 80% nw target. I have no chance of breaking anyone my own nw unless they suicide so of course it'll be a low %. MS/NS spam ftw.
Hrrmmmm, that has more to do with your lack of offense than anything.
Lack of offense, wealth of wizards and thieves. Works well enough.
