Looked around a bit and couldn't find an answer to this:
How does a soldier with aggression cast on it (2/0) defend against an ambush?
Going strictly by the worded description in the wiki I would think it is 0 defense. But the formula in the wiki doesn't include aggression, which would make it 1 defense as per usual (or 0.8 after the effectiveness reduction).
I don't actually know, but I'm guessing aggression does not have any effects, since it's more or less a modifier.

actually there is a bug when you used mercs it doesn't really count as 3pt
