Curdie, Proteus is still the same guy you were allied with for all those ages. Yes, he can be ridiculously arrogant, say lots of stupid things, and more, but once you know him, don't you learn to not put too much weight on the arrogant things he says?
Correct i was allied with his kds for a few ages, and yes I didn't put too much weight on stuff he said back then (though we didnt exactly see eye to eye all the time back then either). I seriously think he has dragged your kd reputation through the mud this age, but who you chose to run your kd and how you leave them to represent you is your choice I suppose. Its ironic how many threads there are trying to talk bad about me. I have yet to see a single one of those people actually beat me though. Just a bunch of empty words. Who did we destroy our relations with curdie? Bio is the type of kingdom who holds a grudge with anyone who takes acres from them. Just look through forums and you will find them being anti-HOH not too long ago. Prior than that it was some other kingdom. If you farm Bio or their cow you risk the same fate. As for relations with Dreams-Rage they were never good, that much is obvious. Pulse-Rage relations were not either. Before I comment on this I would like to point out that I have a lot of respect for flogger and his history, but since he joined Pulse he has only fought Rage/Sanc. Pulse has even strategically Cfed other kingdoms that would be very viable match ups for you just to fight Rage/Sanc. So no I did not destroy any relations.

I think a lot of the flack Proteus is getting is undeserved. Yea, hes an easy target because a lot of things he does are hardly defensible (come on bro, dont make video orders, theyre not smart). However, anyone with a semblance of top kingdom dynamics knows that cowing takes dedication (skill is debatable), and Proteus is one of the few in this game who still does it the legit nonlazy way. This in itself deserves applause.
If you guys have such a huge problem with Proteus' ego, then stop him and humble him. Go dominate and humiliate him and dont leave any reasonable doubt you won. Until then, the count is still Proteus cow crown: 1, most of you haters: 0. These are facts. A crown is a crown is a crown. Some crowns are harder to get than others, but unless someone wants to come up with a prestige scale to rate crown difficulty, then stfu. Go by this general rule of thumb: if you want to criticize someone, make sure you have more crowns first.

We really haven't fought rage much. A majority of our altercations were shortlived as we'd do something, Rage would threaten to FW, and we Ceasefire. We've fought many other kingdoms but they were more shortlived and perhaps less memorable because instead of threatening to FW they just ate a wave and moved on.
We enjoy fighting Sanc because they're always a good match and at least with us have always been the easiest to actually get a war out of. We didn't wave an abs kd until our 4th kingdom this age (none of the previous 3 I expected to be free, either), didn't know who any of the kds were at the time, yet sanc declared so that's more memorable than the other three were to you. We likely would have warred the others you are insinuating this age, but once we got vultured OOW with sanc by another abs kd then our focus shifted back to abs. When put to the choice of warring someone else or warring someone who vultures you, the choice becomes easy. Had they simply waited 24h and waved they'd likely still get the free wave, no hard feelings, and we'd be off looking for the best fight for us. Let abs kds know its not cool to vulture kds that fairly fight another abs kd and you'll get focused on less. I still think fondly of that kingdom but I was a little put off at the time because I would't have done that. In my 10 ages back, I've never vultured a single kingdom, it shouldn't be that hard. I've gotten vultured twice out of wars with sanc. The rationales (and I'm not making this up, obviously I have logs)
1) Yes, I know we have an in-game ceasefire but I consider that an active hostile because there are no duration terms
2) We didn't want to wait 24h to explore our cow so had to hit as soon as you were out of war.
When fighting you this age, you were the only kingdom we could fight that wasn't a vulture, so we CF'd a kingdom instead of vulturing them.
Anyone who was in Mexico knows and will attest to the fact that alot of members in our kd wanted to open up the range of who we hit, but your kingdoms couldn't help themselves from bringing the target upon yourselves.

Dreams noticed Rage and after 48hr notice was up, Dreams took intel and realized it was a losing effort. Therefore, they did not push button to war them.

At last a little bit of honesty after all the mud slinging. Though the FW with BIO after the 2v1 did not help both your reputations at all.
Question here is this, if you know you can't take someone on and win why challenge them publicly? Surely there are better ways to go about it then to provide a PR disaster that you've to cover up later. Unless there was a mistake made by the leaders somewhere, you can't always backtrack on your words after issuing something, especially when people regard you as one of the top kd's around.
Tbh, there isn't a huge difference whether you're in the top 3 or slightly below I think that's just a lame lame excuse and it would have been much better for your reps if you've gone ahead with the clarification above.
