Pretty much everything you said today has already been said and responded upon in the threads about the subject.
Repeating doesn't really add anything.
I'm calling spam.
@ Azartyn - amazing how you never posted before this new anti-cheating system got put in place. Are you being forced to play utopia? IF you don't like how the games is being wrong then don't play it?
I do find it odd though that genuine 'house sharers' have to suffer though but I also know of a few people who abused the old white-list system. Unfortunately a few bad apples spoilt the bunch for the rest of us (not that ive ever been white-listed - never needed it)
The Devs are doing a good job and cheating is down and the player base is starting to creep up again. Keep up the work guys.

Jerk by nature. 1 Bogdan to rule them all!
This is my province. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My province is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.
My province, without me, is useless. Without my province, I am useless.
I must attack hard with my province. I must attack harder than my enemy who is trying to pk me. I must pk him before he pk's me. I will...
This is a good way to finally kill the game. Way to go crappy devs.
And in that same vein... could we please stop calling it 'FU'? I know that's how you feel, but you've got to admit it's pretty disrespectful...
Make the white listing application harder and more complicated. Problem solved. This 'anti-cheat' (also 'anti-honesty') change just shows the developer has a lack of business-sense. Can't be too surprised though with that.
Much like a guy who has an iPhone to log in to provs at all time has a clear advantage over another who doesn't. A husband and wife combo also has a clear advantage as well.
Trying to ensure fairness doesn't necessarily mean you destroy all rights, it is ensuring that the rights that do exist are protected.
Make white listing harder. Stop taking the lazy way out or just sell the damn company and game to someone who can do a better job. I'll be the first to contribute a monetary value to be a stakeholder just to oust these 2 incompetent developer/businessmen.

No you cant, first you must purchase credits, then you must assign a sitter to the provinces, then its limited to only 3 weeks. Your wifes prov you can login to whenever you want, you dont need any formalities at all, you dont have any designated time period that you can sit it.And you cant with sitting Ddodge? You just made my point for me.
So you rather want that they focus most of their time to this whitelist than actually improving the game? I think their businessmodel is quite good, they have people like you who ***** and whine about how crappy they are yet you are staying here playing this game, either that makes you really stupid or them really brilliant. Its easy to sit on the sideline and complain and not having to do any work to achieve anything.Stop taking the lazy way out or just sell the damn company and game to someone who can do a better job. I'll be the first to contribute a monetary value to be a stakeholder just to oust these 2 incompetent developer/businessmen.
You just help keep proving my point Korp. As long as you PAY for sitting (playing 2 countries whether there is a time limit or not.) its ok compared to my wife and I who DO NOT xlog (we're adults and dont need to cheat in a GAME) its legal. aka pay to win/cheat.
You lose again.

The only guarantee that you dont cheat is your word, and most of the people that are playing Utopia is adults yets cheating exist so "We're adults and dont need to cheat in a GAME" is a pretty moot point. Sitting is neither pay to win nor cheating, it doesnt have any major impact on anything. You on the otherhand having two provinces at your disposal without being able to verify if thats really your wife playing the second account or not that could be cheating. Sitting is a feature, whitelisting has many flaws and possible loopholes to abuse.
I dont lose, its you who are too dense to see other perspectives. You keep repeating the same arguments over and over again even if they been answered plenty of times in this thread. It doesnt becomes true cause you just write it more than once.
Want to know the biggest problem with this change? It'll give "The Cheaters" a new challenge. And guess what...they'll find a way around this and continue to cheat, because that's what cheaters do.
This is exactly the reason why no security measure is 100% proof.
While this no-ip sharing may restrict interaction between provinces logged from the same ip address, it doesn't address the actual cheating. The comment by Korp in post #704 illustrates this brilliantly:
So, guilty without chance to prove you're innocent... Imho Korp, if you can't see that this change is EXTREMELY BAD for the game, then you are in fact the dense one. Any change that limits play and alienates a specific group of players, even a minority, will in the end come back and bite you in the ass. Let's not forget that this is a TEXT BASED web game which only appeals to a small group of people. As I stated before, the game exists because of the players, not because of the developers and/or owners. The only guarantee that you dont cheat is your word, and most of the people that are playing Utopia is adults yets cheating exist so "We're adults and dont need to cheat in a GAME" is a pretty moot point.
Its not extremly bad for the game since it doesnt effect that big part of the player community. Its not like people are forbidden to play the game they just cant interact with eachother which there is ways to work around. So we should instead let cheating run rampant, me and my 3 brothers can play this game toghter as well, they should just take my word for it that i do actually have 3 brothers and they do live toghter with me? I think taking away the whitelist is good overall for the game, as Bishop stated its been a burden to them timewise which they now can focus on improving the game and they made it harder for the cheaters that been abusing the whitelist. Some sacrifices on the way to the greater good is to be accounted for.So, guilty without chance to prove you're innocent...
