Its not extremly bad for the game since it doesnt effect that big part of the player community. Its not like people are forbidden to play the game they just cant interact with eachother which there is ways to work around. So we should instead let cheating run rampant, me and my 3 brothers can play this game toghter as well, they should just take my word for it that i do actually have 3 brothers and they do live toghter with me? I think taking away the whitelist is good overall for the game, as Bishop stated its been a burden to them timewise which they now can focus on improving the game and they made it harder for the cheaters that been abusing the whitelist. Some sacrifices on the way to the greater good is to be accounted for.

Hey Korp...my question for you is this. If you don't play and it doesn't affect you, WTH do you care and why are you trolling the thread? You say you have so much better things to do but yet you are here bashing people why? Go do your other more important things.

I already heard of players creating new provinces in ghetto's, and they enjoy to run two provs, even help the ghetto's a bit. So yeah, that there are more provs now is logical, there is no risk to creating a second account anymore. I don't think it's bad for the game, more provs is good, who cares that they are ran by the same person, as long as the provinces can't work together it shouldn't be an issue. And while i don't expect it'll ever be said that increasing the province count was one of the goals of this change, i think it'd be naive not to have taken that into account (as a positive effect) when changing the ant-cheat system.

Its talk not type, the spee of your typing has no relevance. The changes dont affect most people playing utopia doesnt say they dont have a right an opinion. If you read my post where i stated that it said I have better things to do than play the game not voice my opinion in the forum. I think their businessmodel is quite good, they have people like you who ***** and whine about how crappy they are yet you are staying here playing this game, either that makes you really stupid or them really brilliant. Its easy to sit on the sideline and complain and not having to do any work to achieve anything.

This whole 'anti-cheat' system has no effect on me nor my kd and I play this game because it is fun. But that does not imply this is a continuation of a series of bad moves from the developer from a business perspective. And why do I continue to complain? Much like how your mother would nag you.

I have a legitimate question for Bishop that I need a bit of clarification on.

I have 2 people in my KD that both access Utopia from their cell phones from the same service provider. One is phone-only and the other is pc and phone. If the guy with the pc makes a hit or does an op from his pc, will it still block the person on the phone from making hits/ops on the same person or will she be able to still attack so long as the op/attack from the PC guy's account wasn't sent from the same IP address? I need to know this for planning purposes as my KD plans to be in war sometime tomorrow.

Looking at this from a pure numbers thing, this as I said before hasn't done a thing except call all whitelisters cheaters because they had the opportunity to do it. Not that they were cheating because there wasn't any proof of that but they had the opportunity to do it so they were cheating!!!

The ip that interacts is logged, so no - they wouldn't be blocked.

Why would you think cheaters go to the trouble of deleting their accounts? They let them go inactive.

We have seen a 40% decrease in reports of interactions since the system went live. If you are going to ROFLMAO try and ensure you know what you are talking about.
