White Listing vs Sitting...A REAL ANSWER PLEASE!

it rly pisses me off how ppl equalize sitting with xlogging ... its not the same friggin thing ... ignoring the facts blindly just to make the argument doesnt make your point any more valid, just makes yoou looks redicolous.
With xlogging multiple people share login intel and log on for eachother, one province (all provinces beeing shared) can have any number of players which log into them thus ensuring 24/7 presence on line in case of emergency, they can abuse it to soliderblock, swap monarchy, kill dragons instantly, hide resources and do any number of sweet moves you can make with 25 ppl online.


With sitting you still have one guy playing that province and he can run 2 provs max in total, both of those provs's online presence is limited with his online time and cant be online 24/7 on call ...

Diference is obvious here ... so can we PLEASE stop using the rather moronic argument how xloging and sitting are the same thing ...

It really pisses me off that you accuse people on the white list(2 people playing from same IP)of being xloggers with no PROOF! Just because you THINK they do it doesn't mean they do. Get over yourself already. Unless YOU have a guilt conscience and are guilty of cheating.

Exactly, because its paid for...that's what its all about. So basically what your saying here is...As long as you pay..you can sit a province and do ANYTHING. White listers are cheaters without proof and get screwed because we arent paying. You cant prove there is abuse on the white list either...you just ASSUME it.

odd ... play styles changes every year .... you used to have to be traded to play into a kd that is good or the kd u want to play in, so playin with ur friends is pretty much mean you are cheating by what you are saying, or so gettin invited to a kd is pretty much cheating ... since not all kd know people to invite ... so all kingdoms should be scramble and cease trading(inviting)?? .... odd it seem that's what you want ... the whole server to be reshuffle =) ...

odd people ... get with the time, if it's legal go for it ... if not ... stop whining ....

i was against it because it was a bad idea - it doest differentiate between legit and dishonest - and that gave a massive advantage to dishonest.

and how is something that keeps/brings in more legit players a bad idea, unless you want what I said in an earlier post...all the mid-small kd's to just go away because I'd venture a guess thats where 80-90% of your husband/wife/son etc come from and just be a SKD game.

it still comes down to Pay to cheat.

When you sit a province you are doing EXACTLY what you just took away from white listers. Only the sitters can pay you to cheat (xlog)

about 9 years ago ... I traded in my cousin to play with me ... while we never really intent to xlog each other. I had his username, password, and passive proxy ... for just incase something happen to him ... but than mid-age ... he decided utopia wasnt fun anymore ... so he join the bandwagon and quit during the mass reduction period so i was stuck with his prov till I could find a replacement. For 3 days I had to login every 20 hrs to collect income bonus and send the excess gc to my prov for better management. =) We never intented to xlog ... but the potential was there. I feel the dev did a right move in anticipate dangers that players will likely act on "cheating" side. However ... i do feel the restriction duration need to be lesser.

FYI, the devs have been involved in massively successful companies - sean was cto of demonware.
