4 provs in Simians appear to be out of targets
I don't think so, actually.
Most wars quickly end up with one kingdom growing provinces out of range. As war drags the fight can be kept even for a while but they keep growing and growing. Unless their economy is stopped, their gains increase and increase and the outcome is already determined even though war may drag for a while. We saw this in simians vs fratzia, and in most other week-long wars. Even one untouchable province is enough to win a close war.
The reason this war has been so even for so long is simple: it's a stalemate at the top. Both sides big provinces are growing and growing and unable to substantially harm each other. One side fireballs, the other side kidnaps back (btw fireballing faeries who have 6 raw tpa and provinces in range with 100k+ peasants = fail). Both sides contain the others' bigs somewhat, but the bigs continue to grow at more or less the same pace, while all the core shrinks or stays about the same size. Sanc may be winning the battle of the smalls and this may eventually lead to winning the battle of the core, but if the bigs can't be contained it is going to remain a stalemate. Simians has repeatedly said "sanc is only growing their faeries whom we don't care about", but the same is true of simians: they are only growing about 6 provinces, while the rest are in worse and worse shape.
And for this same reason, neither kingdom is screwed after war. Both have big provinces, untouchable by most other kingdoms that might vulture, with great economy. Most of these bigs have wiz/thief defensive bonuses. Flogger sees this; it's why he's worried for his own kingdom (bio) and encouraging simians to do anything possible to slow our faeries growth. But he should be equally worried about simians, who poses just as much of a threat to his kingdom later in the age.
flogger is in BiO???
perhaps a mutual peace should be brokered?
