That's the problem. 0 alliances is unstable - obviously it'll never happen as someone would make an alliance. 1 alliance is also unstable - a counter-alliance always springs up. But 3+ alliances isn't that stable either as there is incentive to merge. 3+ is the best situation for competition, however. But all of this is based on the blocker logic which is based on the bad growth mechanics that allow blocking.
you're better of comparing rage vs bio last age or something like simians sanc. we're a little lower on the unique count :p think anyone that's warred us knows that... also we have quite a few tm's etc

I'm confused, why did BIO let this be a 1v1 for 36 hours before they started to RK? If they were gonna interfere, why not do it right away. Oh well, good thing kitties has 9 lives like fwordz said =)
