In my old days when i had cool war ghetto i had politic to tag my kd name from oop so every one who hate me to can come and pay back if he dare. Now every one is so pro. Top kds are hide because they don't want to be slow from kds who they pissed off. Warring and honor kds hide because they think ppl will be scared from them and run from war. I'm suggest Cats if want to earn my respect to start use same politic and tag from oop. Anri do you read it too :P

Alrgiht, my last post made me look like a jerk, so I'll reiterate some points in a more coherent manner:

From my perspective lots of mentally unstable people play this game. You can call us crazy if you will. It's a 14 year old text based game that people sink time and money into so that fact that crazy people are here goes without saying.

Now, when you piss off crazy people, crazy people will do crazy things. I think we can agree there. Cats has repeatedly been a nuissence and talked down to others when asked to stop. If you keep throwing gas on a fire, don't be surprised when the forest burns down. If you keep punching a hornets nest, don't be shocked when you get stung. Now we gave you something to do, and you gave us something to do. ***** and moan about this all you want. Troll channels and stuff all you want. In the end, this is what happens when you tick of people who flat out don't give a rat's ass about the chart but are there anyway.

Lots of hypocrisy here coming from BIO/Inso.

You guys ever heard of a kingdom named Sleepy? For ages they would play for the sole purpose of doing FSU to "Abs" and a few select kingdoms. Sleepy would never cf an Abs kingdom without a fight and would always get into range to war these kingdoms age after age. When not in range, Sleepy would "tax" Abs kingdoms by constantly robbing them and refusing to cf. Of course Sleepy had friends of their own who they would cf (Fratzia for instance) which would greatly benefit those kingdoms in the crown race.

Did Sleepy get gbed for this kind of conduct? Not at all. They were feared and respected by kingdoms looking to crown.

On the flip side, Cats a smaller indie kingdom is robbing the entire server without cfing or moving on (same way Sleepy did - expect they focused on "Abs" more) and they get gbed for refusing to CF. There is no obligation on part of another kingdom to cf you just because you want it. Last age Cats robbed millions of us prior to our fights with Bio and Old School. While I do agree with those who say that robbing two potentially hostile kingdoms after notice has been issued is wrong and screws up the entire conflict for those kingdoms, I think there is a better way to educate Cats about that - communication rather than gangbang. Cats players have countered this argument by saying "well what if two kingdoms are about to fight in a week from now, or in a month..do we stay out of that?" Obviously not. The vast majority of notice deals are 48h or 72h, making anything longer than that would defeat the purpose.

So the difference here is a cats is an smaller indie type kingdom who robs from everyone and doesn't want to cf, BIO doesn't like it and gbs them. I guess its all good when people are only doing this to Abs for instance, no one says its unfair - but when it happens to you, you gangbang them. Obviously lesson here is don't farm someone for land, gc, etc past the breaking post - do it for a while, get what you need, offer cf and move on. If not you will draw the wrath of others. For whoring kingdoms this meant, if you farm someone too much they wont just give you free hits, they'll hit you back and you will get deterred from the crown race. Although cats did not move on and kept on robbing (same way Sleepy would do in the past), gangbang is going over the top when you alone are capable of raze-killing. No need to escalate this beyond 1v1 imo.

See, you are again sneaking in completely false things into what you write.

First, talking down to people? Really?

Second, *****ing and moaning...? Not really, the whining seems to come from the other side from what I can see. I wish I could in some way prove to you our stance on this point, but I won't be pasting stuff from our irc channel unfortunately. :)

Still if the kds involved feel strongly enough to justify their actions then fair play to them for following their conviction. It looks like nobody has come out of this conflict looking good.

Several of the people in Silly Cats has several pointed out in this thread that none of them have whined about this rather opposite they enjoy it instead you keep insisting that they ***** and whine when its infact the so called "top kds" that done the biggest part of that. The fire will burn down the forest yes, it wont wait for the "right" moment hornets will sting you but they will do it right away and not wait and bide their time either.

This was long ago. Pked province was coss and he full deserved it. All story is long, shady and complicated. I don't think rage should be blamed for this. I will take all blame because its was arranged from me :)

This is only partially true.
Could we stop using game mechanics and hiding behind nw as an excuse for their actions once and for all ? It doesnt matter if KD harassing you is 33% or 66% your nw, as long as you are in the crown race EVERY conflict no matter how one sided it is will be against the crown contender's interest.

Its very simple, you got something at stake and other side doesnt ? You are handicapped in that conflict, its that simple, only question is does the other side knows how to deal with it.
Even if jdorje's ideas about dicing/pool would be to implemented 100% crown contender would still be handicapped in eventual conflict as long as he is breakable by other KD.

Why ? because raze works 2 way, cycle razes thru charting's KD breakable provinces dancing arround gb protection and watch them loose 5 acres for everey 1 they raze off you ... its that simple. If you never razed province 3 times your landsize you have no idea what you are missing =)
So could we please stop using Cats size as an actual argument that means anything in this particular situation, any charting KD who ran into any type of conflict with smaller oponent faced the same problem and had to find a way out of it, its been like that since they implemented knrg.
Ppl have been dealing with this handicap forever w/o running to friends for help ... not like beeing significantly larger doesnt bring advantages of its own to the table.

Thats not even mentioning Cats were in perfectly decent range this age. Bio and the crew keep talkin like Cats were too small for them to get good gains on them which is of course bs. Since when is it impossible to deal with KD 2/3 your side just cause you cant get button on them ?

Once they gave up crowning race and land lost was no longer a factor every and all reason to complain about game mechanics went down the drain, and until than there was no foul play anyway ...

Regardless, Rage was razing into Sleepys war cause they were pissed with sleepy.

This kind of **** is not without precedent, not by a long shot. I think it's fundamentally dishonest to say this kind of thing is somehow outside of the bounds of occurrence in Utopia, or that Abs has never done anything like it.

Last age was fun at times, too few wars but still we had fun.

This age has been great so far, we love all of it except the lying in the forum but I guess that is the cost for having fun.

About game mechanics, I don't think they will be happy until they can have their own server to play on, 6 boring KDs trying to crown in peace and having totaly inactive bots to hit for land.
