Who are we?

We are a mix of several formerly top 10 KD players from ages 15-40 who have returned and in the last four ages built a stable core and look to have fun. We have a few newbies, mostly returned older players. Our average age is over 30 someplace. Our youngest player is 26. We try to play smart and use that to overcome the handicap of our general philosophy of bending utopia around our lives rather than our lives around utopia. While several members choose to set alarms for attacks, it is not required. While several of our players choose to be hyperactive, it is not required. So what is required?

1 - creative thinking and intelligence
2 - reasonable activity (at least two hits/day)
3 - IRC use.
4 - an ability to relax and not rage delete/quit until we have talked about the reasons why.
5 - an understanding that your province is not your province, it is the kingdom's and that everything that is done for it, to it, by it is for the kingdom, not for you.
6 - some things we can talk about if you meet the top five.


If you like solid strategies, good company, low drama, low BS, mature people, and working to learn the mechanics of the game and constantly improve but without the stress of trying to crown, then we may be a very good fit for you.

Come to #and (we are supposed to change to #monument soon though) and talk to Raikon, maximouse, sheister, prehensile, mordrek, elmo, or....well anyone else if you just want nice conversation, but the people named if you want to see if we are a good fit for each other.

If you come to hang with us, please do not try to impress us with how elite X KD that you were in was. We all have been there and done that. Impress us with how truly nice, awesome, creative, and intelligent you are. Remember, in Monument, it's what you know, not who you know.

We have one opening for the right person so that a member can stop killing himself now that his job has gotten busy. It is not desperate so we are taking our time looking for the right person. We also have another opening for next age. One of our members is leaving us to go lead another kingdom.

I'm pretty sure that the fact your are a bunch of sore losers who refuse to accept defeat at EoA is pertinent to your recruitment thread. I know I'd like to be informed of something like that before I joined.
