    WT vs TD

    Just a silly question. Normally running 2-2.5 raw TPA and 10% WT is the basic strategy to keep up casual theives. Would replacing that 10% WT into 10% TD offer around the same protection?

    Generally, no, but it depends on who is oping you somewhat.

    Wow that's fast. Well lets just consider this casual theives to be general attackers running around the same TPA.

    You dont run WT to stop casual thieves, you run WT to partially mitigate the damage done by real thieves. I sat on 3 raw tpa and 13% TD for a good portion of the age (fit into kd strat) and was oped to hell when actual thieves wanted to hurt me. At least with 10% WT there would of been some auto fail in the ops attempted on me.

    TD stop people with similar tpa, WT stop people with much higher tpa.

    WT are better unless you use your thieves offensively a lot.

    WTs lower the damage cap next age.

    This was taken from the Age 55 Potential Changes thread. The more WTs you have the greater the damage reduction. For example Avians, Faeries, and Humans will lose some of their "+XX% Sabotage damage" bonus based off the % of your WTs.
