Your player gave a bogus defense, and he's done it before as dorje pointed out. Even if the bounce was csarmi's fault, you have no explanation for the retals do you? This was clearly another Simians setup, as you are responsible for the actions of your players.

After an annoying amount of idiocy trying to get me to bounce, he finally gave up. Unfortunately it seems csarmi did fall for the trick; however, was also prepared with nick and his kingdom as backup and so was able to deny simians most of the acres.

The odd part is that anri would blatantly lie about something so obvious. I guess it's entertaining for him though.
