undead cleric help

so i will be playing another undead cleric heavy attacker next age and since the age is winding down i would like some advice on how to improve my province for next age. below is my info. please make any suggestions you can. i will be trying a different build setup next age. I have been playing A/t/m this age which has only been possible with such low tpa and wpa cause im playing in the ghetto. since i will have a full kd next age to run i will be strictly attacking.

I was at about 160k offense but got wrecked by MS recently. was also at around 3 tpa til i made a couple of land grabs.

made many mistakes this age that i'm aware of. would like some advice to help with ones im unaware of so i dont repeat them. first age back in many years and im not quitting til i win a crown of some type or I die, whichever comes first

You could do better with your offense, 75 (mod?) opa is pretty weak for such low dpa. More stables? All our attackers have 8-10% stables before war. Without crunching numbers, 7% stables/15% TGs should give better offense than 5/17. Get 1.5-2% dungeons also.

I'd take space from GS/WT, how much will depend on your position in relation to the rest of your kdmates. For example, if you're one of the smaller provs in your kd, then skimming GS/WT (10% each) for the first couple of waves should be fine.

How you run your dspecs and elites number depend more on kd strategy. 25 dpa is fine if all other undeads/heavy attackers runs 25 dpa. I tend to lean toward a more balanced dspecs/elites approach for most attackers, but again, depends on kd strategy here.

unless our are literally the #1/2 biggest attacker in the kd and u need an insane mod off i'd recommend 10+% stables and 10-15% TG. you can always increase your TG later to compensate.

As an fyi you are WAY under drafted as an attacker.. for a comparison late age..fyi i'm a bit under-drafted right now too but i'd still consider late age u'll face prov pumped like this.

yea my draft rate was at 70% and almost fully trained but i got wrecked by ms for 18 hours while working and asleep while my armies were home and also sent thousands of soldiers out in aid to a prov who was being pez killed. i was lookin a little better but still not quite where i wanted to be. undead troop costs are so expensive lol. that growth build looks like it would be more fun. i can now keep my armies out cause i just bought a smart phone so i can make hits during work haha. thanks for the suggestion man

good, homes on an attacker is bad. Note while dungeons if filled is the best building in the game if you're unlikely to keep them in your build during war. oftentimes its EASIER to simply not include them.

Home is often not worth it on an attacker, but nothing is absolute. Your personality/size in kd/role all affects whether you should get homes or not. If you got a lot of free space and got 15%+ in all your main buildings, then in general, you should consider getting some homes. For instance, 0->5% homes would give you around 1 opa more than 15%->20% TGs (but at the cost of more elites/NW).

For the same reason, home is actually recommended on Avians as they don't have as many offense-modding building as everyone else (no stables).

There are also pre-war strategies that optimize home usage in war. If you are small and know you won't get chained in the first couple of waves, you can run homes pre-war so you could carry more elites/dspecs into war. It gives you a slight edge when your acres come in after the intial landgrab in war, then raze your homes into something more useful. Similarly, if you can do army in/army out, then get enough stables to mount all your elites pre-war, then raze them in war. It helps that I'm a dwarf with free building, tho :)

Correct homes being razed like stables works if you a dwarf as u can basically rebuild for free, but now your not talking about a "war" build but an adaptive build that is well above most people who ask for advise on the forums.

I mean how many people are capable of running 85% homes 5% guilds 10% stables pre war and stealing/aiding all the food/runes you need only to rebuild everything but guilds right as your kd waves/gets waved.

switching so many buildings is very difficult for undead because of the high troop costs. i barely have enough gold to build my incoming acres and keep my defspecs even due to MS wrecking them. my elites stay pretty balanced cause i keep them out at all times and have the off spec conversion bonus
