Exactly. People who think T/Ms are played by lazy people have either seen all lazy or all active ones. If you've seen both, the difference is night and day.

But only required active during hostile/war though. Whereas attackers have to hit army in and out every day and sometimes spending 30mins to an hour for a safe hit.

Pure T/M becomes a difficult balancing act out of war/hostile when a Kingdom grows beyond a certain point because it is difficult to keep within range of the attackers dicing isn't enough to keep up if you kingdom's attackers a hitting for gains and then and exploring becomes difficult due to the wall.

explore during EoWCF is what i've been doing with a faery, grew 1k acres and was fully pumped by end of CF still
